96 Mustang GT w/ Dumps?
Would that be a good idea? I dont know what mufflers or pipes I have now but they are not stock and one of the pipes is cracked and rusted. The mufflers are still good so maybe I can just cut but what do you guys have to say about all this? P.S.I LOVE the sound of the car right now!

they dont hang at all they sit nicely in there exhaust hangers. Yes with the 40 series you might have some vibrations but not bad. I am switching out to an O/R H pipe and flowmaster 10 series considered the 1 chambers. Thats gonna have some vibrating to it.

Well I got the car put away in its car cover now but whenever I get it back on the road I guess i'll chop the pipes off right after the mufflers. If I dont like how that turns out than I'll just get a new exhaust from MAC, I have MAC exhaust all the way back on my v6 and that thing sounds mean at all rpms and idle.

i had the MAC pro dumps on my 5.0 for a little while and they sounded pretty awesome. my buddy's got dumps on his 96GT and it sounds really good. it's pretty frikin hard to make a mustang sound "bad" actually...

Hahah..well I guess i'll just chop the pipes off and then when I have cash for MAC i'll go that route.....and then some gears...and then new heads with intake....and then...Well you get the point..The list never ends
