finished fabbing my own powerpipe out of 20 ga sheetmetal the car picked up 2lbs of boost @ 5900 rpm, so I was pleased with that also question i am running an f-cam is this a typical blower cam? can you suggest some nice blower cams?

 

how did you make your power pipe?

 

looked at a powerpipe and then fabbed my own. I run a sheetmetal shop, so the fab was easy It might not flow as well as a powerpipe because its all mandrel bends,but none the less i made mine from flat sheets of metal just measured to the existing 3" hole in the fender made an 4" elbow then welded a 4" diameter 3" offset then welded another 4" elbow that turned me into the fender with a 4" straight pipe then mass air meter with filter I can take a picture and post it for you. do you have any info on the cam?

 

no i don't but i found this http://forums.stangnet.com/398423-f303-cam.html don't know if its the same cam but its an f-cam. i know some people run the cms stg 2 or 2.5 blower cams and like them.

good to hear the DIY pipe worked. also yes the f-cam works pretty good on a forced air car.

 

Nice boost gains. I picked up 6psi when coupled with the 2.95 pulley(the stock 94-95 intake setup is very, very restrictive). A custom cam is your best blower cam. But the TFS-1 and 2 work well too.
