I have a friend with a 96 GT with a few things done to it, including (2) 10lbs bottles, he says he beats C5's (not the plane) with one spray and the second is in case they want more at the next light.
please atleast get the quote right. and stop generalizing nitrous as nos, nos is a brand.

nitrous is like a hot chick with an std, you wanna hit it but your afraid of the consequences.

i like bottle guages, but i look a hood guage better so i can see it all the time

extra bottle won't hurt... you don't wanna fill up at the track.. they rape you, or you don't wanna run out.. so a spare is always good

check ebay, you can get brand new NOS bottles for $200 , they are $300-ish everywhere else

if you score a used bottle, look at the original hydro date to see how old it is

in the shoulder of the bottle.. after all the DOT numbers there will be (2) 2-digit numbers separated by a funny looking "A" thats the month and year it was made

i always like the newest bottle i can find... less chance some schmuck used a torch on it
oh btw... get an inline filter... cheap insurance of not clogging up a selonoid and making it "hang" open

Thanks for the tips man!

a nozzle that goes in your breather tube is better than a plate kit, ask Dave at the outlet he will tell you why and answer any questions. they also have a forum at nitrous tech.com. it has all wiring diagrams and stuff, check it out.

now THAT i'd really like to hear

i can come up w/ 5 reasons why it's NOT better... but not a single one why it is

unless of course your talking about a tb plate kit, which really isn't a plate kit, it's the same principle as a single nozzle

+1

plate system is always better, but it jack's up the price, its alot harder to change jets (on most kits) and you have to have the hood clearence!

I have never seen a single nozzle that goes in your breather tube work worth spit when spraying 250 hp of nitrous. Most good plate kits on the other hand, have no problem with that level and more in some applications. If you are going to make broad statements such as that, it would be nice if you could explain yourself! Just a suggestion.

i did explain myself ....i said call dave he would tell you why. hell if your spraying a 250 shot you need to be direct port. anyway i really don't know the details i just heard him tell a few different people that a fogger would work better for them than the plate. something to do with mixture or something , but both times he was talking about a specific application ...and the app was a small shot on a mustang.
ok i think i remember...it was a wet shot so it gives the fuel and n2o more time to mix.
