Default 2010 GT Modifications

Doc said that I needed a hobby and I figured that I would buy a Mustang and mod if over time. It should prove better than gardening.

I have a question for y'all to get me started . . .

If someone had $5,000-$8,000 in 2011 to put into a 2010 Mustang GT, what would be the best modifications to increase HP and torque without drastically reducing gas efficiency.

I am interested in keeping the car subdued. As is, I have ordered it without spoiler and am looking at possible replacing the GT with the Mustang emblem.

The car in questions is a Mustang GT Premium Automatic with Trackpack.

Welcome to MF!

I guess a good question to ask is what is your plan with your car? And what is your HP goal? 400hp, 500hp?

The easiest way to increase HP and torque would be nitrous or you could put in a s/c or turbo. But a lot depends on what your goals are.

+1. a nice turbo kit, suspension mods and sticky tires will keep you happy for a long time

if your wanting to keep the car subdued, do not get a turbo kit. Youll be spending more time under the car than driving it. Get a whipple supercharger package, have it tuned, and move onto other things. keep it simple. turbo is a hassle and a half imo
