Supercharge it!!!
I ran it that way for over a year. Drag raced it several times. Vortech designed an FMU for a reason. Works just fine. Everybody thinks you need 50lb injectors and FAST computer to make good power. You don't need to over build a stock set up. A 6/8lb Vortech install requires nothing more than what the kit includes.

I'm not pushing my luck. I'm just saying running what the kit includes is all you need for a stock set up. As soon as I upped the boost to 10lbs and changed intake, throttle body, mass air, etc, I added 24 injectors, 255lph pump to support it. I'm tired of magazine article reading people, writing in quoting stuff "they've read..." I'm giving my feedback from "actual" experience. Read what you want.

I'm just trying to help the person who posted the question about a stock blower install from my experience. Telling them the fuel injectors will lock up is a good warning but more information should be given why that is. The FMU will raise fuel pressure based on boost. Higher the boost, higher the fuel pressure. In some cases 12psi per lb of boost. Jeep is right that excessive fuel pressure will test the limits of stock 19lb injectors. I wasn't testing their limits in the least. I ran 12.80's with them and never had a problem. But I kept the boost down and had stock parts.

I'm not saying that you will lock up the injectors. Not at all.
I don't know what PSI the injectors lock up, I'm just saying that I would PERSONALLY go with something like a MegaSquirt and larger injectors and tune from there.
