Actually, Single turbos are usually faster, the Twin Turbo kits uses small T3/T4 hybrids, a T66 single Turbo will give more power, this is why many Supra and RX7 owners replace there twins with one turbo. Then why use twin turbos in the first place? cause twin turbos has better driveability than a single one, a big turbo can produce large amounts of power but not predictable, in a moment you are at 2000rpm for example, when you hit full throttle you will not feel the power until the turbo starts to operate suddenly at about 3or4k RPMs pushing you deep into your seat, cool isn't it? not in town! with twins the smaller one will operate at low rpm levels, the other one will operate at higher levels, all for a smooth power delivery.

twins are no faster it is all based on how you apply the turbos twin turbos spool faster but you will lose it on the top end a single spools slower but loves the top end just where do you want the power i have twins on my 5.0 but i am going with a single in the near future just give a shot of laughing gas in the lower rpms to spool the single
