Super 40's utilize "Delta Force" technology which is an extra baffle in the muffler designed to reduce interior resonance and the well known 2k rpm drone. It also reduces sound levels and gives a slightly deeper tone. The Originals are the all out agressive ones.

dont you mean delta flow. delta force are flowmasters 1 chambered mufflers. delta flows are what is used in the 40 series american thunder cat back and the 50 series force II cat back for the stangs. but it does say that the super flows are molded in the race muffler case. but flowmaster says it is delta flow equipped.

The A/T catbacks for the 99+ GT come standard with Super 40 mufflers now.
