so my 97 GT motor is getting old and im ready to do a swap some time soon. i cant deside if i want to put a cobra dohc 4.6 in it or the 5.0. i want mod it up. and make like 350 or 400 hp. what would be the best way to go. the 5.0 would be cheaper and easier to mod up right??

 

considered buying a mark viii 4.6 if cost is an issue? or the navigator 5.4? 5.0 is a bit of work for a not too impressive engine (stock) They are pretty easy to work on & can take a beating though.

 

go with 4.6 and put a blower on it much less headache.
