Default Exhaust, Headers, Mid Pipe, Intake

I am ready to buy exhaust, headers, mid pipe and an intake. I would like to know what brands you guys recommend. I have heard that Bassani is one of the best you can get as far as the exaust and mid pipes go but they are a bit expensive. I want a good sound without drowning out everything inside the car and I want good performance. Is all of this feasible with $1000 - $1500? How much gain should I expect from each? Also, will dynamatting the trunk cut down on the exhaust level on the inside? I am planning on doing that anyways for my stereo. Thanks

BASSANI CATTED AND/OR MAGNAFLOW OFF ROAD X PIPES WITH SPINTECH MUFFLERS, GET SHORTIE HEADERS (OR LONG IF YOU PREFER BUT YOU GOTTA MAKE THAT DECISION BEFORE ORDERING THE XPIPES)..............

Some people swear by shorties..and that's fine..but it's been proven that Longtube Headers get you anywhere from 15-30 hp..plus a new mid pipe and then catback..LT's also sound hella lot better than shorties (more aggressive and deeper)..but for midpipe..know this:
H pipe=deep, aggressive classic muscle car sound
X Pipe= higher pitched, raspier (at least to me), european ferrari type sound

And if you get LT headers, you need a "shorty" mid pipe

Catbacks...everyone swears by what they have..go to mustangexhaust.com and sign up and listen to what they have there..sound clips dont do justice but you will get an idea

Well the longtube install can majorly be a bitch..it is true...I shelled out the few hundred and had them done..but then last week I installed them on my cousin's car..we had it on a lift..had to take NOTHING out..and we had both of them on and the new H pipe in 3 1/2 hours

SLP full system. The SLP LT headers will set you back the most FYI. I will be ordering mine (LT's - already haveX & II's) here in the next few months...

Your mufflers are close to your back seats. If you want to help cut down on interior resonance, you should dynamat from your backseat all the way through your trunk.
