Default Plug gap

Hey guys,

I'm putting a vortech on my 2000 Gt pretty soon. I got the NGK TR6 plugs. I was wondering what I should gap them at?

thanks

I will be doing new plugs this month around 13.5-14 psi what should i gap them at .35 or .32. What does gap difference do in terms of performance???

id go .32

it doesnt nothing. a larger gap makes it easier to ignite the fuel but higher cylinder pressure makes it harder for the electricity to jump the gap.

FACTORY ALWAYS HAD IT AT .35, MY TUNER AT LIVERNOISE SUGGEST .33 and tuned it at that. I think any lower will cause you to run rich. Ive treid running .30 b4 and the car bogged alittle. The tune has allot to do w/ how your car will react to the gap. IF you have someone tuning it, I suggest putting in a new set of plugs b4 they do it. If you just have a hand held, Id stick w/ .33. If you want a proffesional advice, call Livernoise motorsports and they'll advise you the same thing. This is also based on a 2 valve.
