does it really matter
i in the market for a boost gauge. after looking at prices, im thinking prob a mechanical. so whats really the difference between a 200 dollar name brand controller, and a 20 dollar ebay controller?????
Gauge? Mechanical gauges use a bourdon (sp?) tube to move the gauge needle which means you have a pressure reference tube going into the gauge. Electric gauges use a chip that raises in resistance when pressure is applied to it. Think of an electric one more like a map sensor with a pressure gauge.
