OK... I've been debating on the NOS 75-100HP kit for my 91LX. Can I get some people with some real nitrous exp to give me the down-low on it. I want the good and the bad.... Gimme the horror stories and/or the good. If it's installed properly to cut on a WOT once activated, not abused.... what are my chances of holding up and for how long............ If your not a nitrous fan and have exp with it, don't be afraid to post!

only use it when needed

bottle pressure gauge
fuel pressure cut off switch
nitrous delay timer (1/4 runs)

on the wet kit it isn't the nitrous what happens is the fuel will puddle up this is why I use expoxy in that area. 175 shot is alot if you used a progressive system you could get by with it,if the engine is built for it..you'll never a chip or tweecer, pms to up the duty cycle of the injectors for more fuel thru out the rpm range or you'll have a nice popping sound coming from the engine with a burn pistion or a hole in it.. or if you lucky 2 blown HG

Theres at least three people around here running 175 or more to stock motors- consistently..no problems. We race in northern kentucky at a couple 1/8th tracks and i've met others spraying this much too- and they're running 7's - on stock motors. A guy I know just has heads, cam, is spraying 200 to his & raced the past couple years with the same motor- same pistons...running 7.20s.

are you sure they are? or just saying..would you bet your engine on it?...my bud is one of the beston the east coast in seting up nitrous and what I have learned it is possible but your on borrowed time everytime you push the button....to me wondering if I'm catch'in a ride home or driving home isn't worth the 10-25 hp you'll get..but hey just my suggestion

yea i'm sure...the guy who is hooking up mine went from running 15s on one of his stock gts....to running 11.90s with convertor,4.10,175 dry,and e.t. streets. he sold that car and it still runs good. i've heard what youre saying too, dont get me wrong, i'm just going on what everybodys telling me here, and some magazines.

whos your bud on the east coast? ...i just called tony bischoff who owns BES racing engines in indiana, and he said i'd be fine to spray 200 or a little more on a stock 5.0 1992 or older.
