Default Removing my MRT Interceptor Muffler

After several months of being droned to death I've finally decided to remove my MRT Interceptor axle back. It sounds good at certain RPM's but the lower range is too much to take. Not to mention, my wife wants to kill me.

I tried to remove it a few weeks ago and it wouldn't come off. I don't want to break it so I ordered a puller from Summit Racing. Hopefully this will do the trick.

I also sprayed my stock muffler with some high temp black paint to help hide it from view.

i used the pipe separator today and removed the muffler. Worked like a charm! I put the stock muffler back on and she's very quiet. It also seems like I lost some pep due to the restrictive stock muffler. Now it's time to shop for a dual exhaust that doesn't drone.
