I'm about to order a Vortech s-trim kit from Central Florida Motorsports for $2700. The kit does not come with fuel pump, injectors nor tune. Do you think is a good price? I can get cheap prices for injectors and pump thru some friends and I already call Diablo Sports and they will build me a tune thru one of the local dealers on a dyno. What do you guys think?

 

That price prolly doesn’t include intercooler, does it?

 

I've been looking at vortech too. Let us know how it goes and how much power you make after tuning. Thats w/out the aftercooler right?

 

No intercoolers on vortechs. I would look at procharger.

 

eh you can put a FMIC on a vortech or find a kit that comes with the aftercooler, the procharger kits normally have a 3 core intercooler. but for 2700 im sure it doesn't have the aftercooler

there is plenty of threads on this board about vortech vs. procharger vs. ... so im not going to get into that

 

well depending and how you will set up the blower you would have to upgrade the fuel pump and injectors anyhow. I think they give like a 155...but if you are planning to fixit up you need a bigger one anyhow and injectors as well.

I have 42# injectors with a 255 walbro fuel pump
