Ground Clearace - Headers
I'm planning on picking up some SLP LTs, but I'm concerned about ground clearance. My car is lowered around 2"...will LTs present a major ground clearance issue on a lowered car?
Thanks, ZW! I've still got some work to do on her, looking at replacing the R-Wing and filling in the Cobra on the bumper.
Jdaniel, thanks, doesn't look too bad, definitely doable.

normally the headers dont have any clearance problems on a lowered stang. ive got problems with cat clearance. my heat sheilds on my cats are beat up badly, i scrap on alot of stuff with them. speed bumps kill... also hills do with a flat part like driveways. but yea, i do have clearance problems... but if you went with a offroad X pipe or something, i dont think you would have any problems.
Hmmm....I've got SLP LM Is, and I'm looking at getting a catted SLP X w/SLP LTs. It's going to be my "reward" for completing my second tour in Iraq, lol. I thought about getting the o/r X, but I figure I can get the race pipes with the catted X and just switch out when I really feel like it, if it is even worth it.
I've bottomed out the car twice since I got it a year ago, once pretty hard, but I never noticed any real damage. I'm usually pretty careful. When I get back from Iraq I'm going to get a full inspection done before I get the headers/X-pipe installed...I just hear it's damn pricy to get those things installed.
