Default pully help

Ok, heres the deal. I just got my car dynoed today. I came in at 296.5 RWHP -the car is rated at 355, wtf? anyway, my plan is to get to 350 rwhp. So the guy at my speed shop told me that with a pully, tune, plugs and boots that he could get me to 350. I was just wondering if anyone knows of any other ways to get to 350, im open for suggestions. just so you know, long term plans include ported heads and cams (after full exhaust of course)

one last thing, Im seriously considering one of those AS SEEN ON TV snow performance methanol/water boost coolers. do these things work? do they break often? does anyone actually use them?

Default RE: pully help

the methanol kits work if you have them tuned. you can get anywhere from 30-100hp from it, depending on how much boost you run. the more you run, the more effective the kit will be. with it you can run more boost and more timing without ping. snowperformance makes a kit, AFM makes a kit that is about half the price, and there is a third company but cant remember what it is. the other company and snow, use electric pumps and a relay activated by boost to turn the kit on and off. the AFM kit uses the boost itself to control the on/off and the higher the boost, the more it spits out unlike the other two companies that you buy an injector that sprays a constant amount when ever it is on. the AFM kit has no pump so you have to inject the methanol into the intake BEFORE the s/c where the other two inject before the tb.

if you get yourself a some good heads and a cam you wont even need more boost to easily get 350rwhp
