Offroad H pipe installation
I just bought my girlfriend an Offroad H pipe and went to put it on but came across a few problems. She is missing one of nuts that connect the manifold to the stock H pipe. Does anyone know what size and thread I need to get as a replacement? How do you disconnect the O2 sensors to drop down the H pipe? I can not reach up there to unclip them. Also, the nut on the passengers side manifold on the bottom is in a tricky space, will a normal wobble socket get to it? This is on a 2001 GT. Thanks for any help. I did a search and came up empty handed.
i've never done exhaust on newer cars, but if it is similar at all to the foxbody exhaust...it is a really oddball size nut you need.
and for the o2 sensors...if you can get a wrench on it, there should be enuff slack in the wire to unscrew it.

That is kinda the problem, I am having trouble getting the wrench on. There is not a lot of room. I guess I will just have to take down one of the other nuts and then take it with me to get a replacement. Any others have any experience with getting the O2 sensors out?
Well I have and 03 GT and i just put in and off road x-pipe and its probly easiest to just take the stock system out first and just unclip the O2s. and do the O2 sensor swap once its out. and that one bottom bold on the passenger side it one bitch of a bold we ended up taking a deep well socket and grinding it down as much as we could then with an impact, extentions, universal extentions, and the moded socket we got it off. the problem is all of the power you loose in the extentions and stuff. also u may have to unclip the things that hold the O2s cord to the car to get the cords to reach.
