Default Nitrous question

I noticed a used dry nitrous kit for a 5.0 going for a $100. I was just wondering if the older fox body kits are compatable with a newer SN95 5.0

if it was wet, i'd say yes. i dunno about dry kits though. usually you gotta buy them for your particular vehicle.

yea im pretty sure the dry kits are model specific, because they reley on the car itself to add more fuel when your spraying, instead of add the fuel for you. Id get a wet kit instead if you haven't already decided on a dry.

they are the same....if it's $100 it probably has no bottle....since a used bottle is worth an ez $100

a new bottle is over $200, so make sure you know b4 you get it.

a basic used kit (complete) is about $250

ahhh.. i wasn't sure. i know dry kits for a 96-98 4.6 won't work on a 99+ 4.6. didn't know about the fox 5.0 vs the sn95 janx.

Unless you really have a reason to go dry, I'd prefer wet.

Wet offers a more reliable setup, more torque, and is safer in our eyes.
