Please help a girl out! I just purchased some SLP Power Flo mufflers. I can wrench pretty well so I'm doing the install myself. But...looking under there looks like there may be a whole bunch of adjusting and almost a pain to remove the old ones! Do I need to jack the car up?
Are there a few tips on making life eaiser during this install?

Oops! this is a 06 GT.

 

Well....after looking at you system...and at the 06 system setup.... it clamps right on. just remove the stockers, slip on the the mufflers, fit the hangers together, and tighten down the clamps on the pipe. Not that hard to do, just dont be scared of jumping into it. then rev dat 3 valve up and scared the poo out of some ricers.

 

yea or you could get your mechanic to weld it for you...

 

or do this, join a mustang club and let someone in it do the work for you
