I have a 2004 mustang gt, stock for right now, im gonna be gettin an o/r x-pipe and slp loudmouth II exhaust, CAI and upper intake plenium with a 75mm t/b. Now I was just wonderin what would be the best gears to get for at the track??

if your planning on doin a lot more to your car then 4.10 wouldnt be the way to go. You will run out of gear on the track. but for street 4.10 is nice

wtf? im getting 4.10 and i did the calculator and my top speed in 4th was around 115. If I was racing someone and went into 5th they would fly right past me.

You dont use 5th gear , its an overdrive and is not even located in the same place in the tranny as 1-4 gears. 4th runs out around 115.

well, if i'm at the track and i'm redlining 4th (doubtful unless i forge my bottom end and run some massive boost to move my car), i'm not going to let it keep going and bounce off the rev limiter. i'm going to shift into 5th or go into neutral. doesn't look like you're running out of gear at the track yourself either.

I'd get the 4.10's if your going N/A. But if you plan on turbo or s/c, I would suggest you get 3.73's.
