ceramic vs chrome

hey i was looking at the bbk ceramic lt headers and the chrome ones. why are the chrome ones cheaper? will they rust? should i pay the extra money to get the ceramic?

Get the ceramic. With the ceramic headers, most of the heat from the exhaust will go out the exhaust. The chrome run hotter and absorb heat making it hotter in the engine bay.

Sure it will. If you want chrome, thats fine. Their good too. You will notice a decent gain with either one.

i really just want them for sound and performance but i dont plan on racing all the time. i found them for 390 new. you think its worth it. i dont really car about them discoloring or anything but i just dont want them to rust really fast or anything like that.

Thats a good price if they are new. RPM outlet has them listed for $490 for ceramic.
