it seems like alot of the people in this forum use xpipes? why not hpipes? whats the big difference also?

 

there isn't much diffence in the performnce but a x pipe does give you a littel better top end hp whiel a h gives you more torque.



just go with what sounds best too you.

 

how about the pitch, or tone? i heard that the x isnt as throaty?

 

well all i can tell you is i like mine and get complements on it all the time.


headers o/r xpipe and super 40 flows dumped under the car.

there is a seciton with sound listen until you like what you here then find out what it is.

 

i personaly would go for H... for that classic rumble i like H. X is more high-pitched

 

A magizine dynoed them and the x had sumthing stupid like an extra 1/2 horse power.....I have heard it gives of different sounds...Ive only used H-pipes....

 

i dont like x pipes. h pipes have a tone i just love.

 

I had an xpipe and went back to an hpipe. The x is very high pitched at higher rpm`s. Kinda like the sound of a nascar. The h has a much deeper tone and IMO it sounds better and would sound awesome with flowmaster super 40`s.

 

i have an H. It sounds awsome up untill 3K rpm's, then it starts loosing tone and just sounds loud. i also have magnapacks and LT headers.
