Why does it seem everyone with a procharger puts down more hp then vortech owners? I read that supercharger shootout post, and I would figure that if prochargers compressor was all that bad it wouldn't put out better numbers then vortech.

 

cause the pro charger comes with an intercooler. most people that buy an s-trim vortech don't get an aftercooler with it. you get an aftercooled vortech and it'll out down the same, if not more.

 

nanaki is correct but it also depends on the tune cause i remember that there is someone on these forums that has an aftercooled vortech with 8 lbs of boost and hes only putting down 392rwhp..so i mean it depends on a lot of things
