Haha.

How long have you had your BFGs on? Mileage on them? Expected life?

This is the crucial bit, for me.

I have no earthly Idea. I went to my tire guy, asked "what is the best" and this is what he ordered. I guess he is a little partial to BFG's. And he tried to sell me Hoosiers over MT's. But they are good tires. Geel great in the curves, but nothing street is going to work for me at the track, I have pretty much decided.

There are a lot of people running the BFG KDW2's. You may want to start a mileage thread asking that question. I would do it in the tech questions for some extra coverage of older cars though.[:-]

try Hankook SR2's they are an autocross tire but hook very good at the drags, and they are very streetable. not too sure on the sizes you need though. I do recommend that what every tire you do buy that you buy all 4 of the same brand so that the tread pattern is the same. different tire on front and rear can screw up the balance sometimes.

From what I'm hearing the Nitto 555 are the way to go. I have a friend with a '03 Cobra with 500hp dynoed to the wheels, he runs them and they bite lilke slicks. I'm not talking
about the 555R just the regular 555. Buy them through Steeda, they have the best price.

I definitely would go with the same tire all the way around. Size aside, different brands front and rear just look stupid and cheapen the car IMO. I have the BFGKDW2 only for a few days and I can't break them loose, they just stick.

BFG's are all right, I have the KDWS's on my probe theyre a great tire with a firm sidewall, deep tread for good water dispersion, but they seem to chop pretty easy, Ihave to rotate em every 6,000miles. I put some kumho ecsta's on my GF's car and those seem to be the best bang for the buck, they were more "true" (perfectly round) than the BFG's, and have better all season traction.
Also, you might want to look into some Dunlops, Ive have been VERY pleased with mine (SP8000), the ones I have are discontinued, but the SP9000's are supposed to be a REALLY good tire as well. But definitly STAY AWAY FROM GOODYEAR - **** TIRES!
