Pimp my launch
Hey all you track junkies... Here's a video of a solo run at the track from Saturday night. Not my best run, but still barely in the 14.7's.
Anways, I'm really feeling like my launches could be more solid... My basic technique is to powerbrake up to about 1700-1800 rpm's then mash down with 100% throttle, releasing the brake at the same time.
I'd love to maximize the results with my current setup. It feels like I'm losing some traction off the line... but, at the same time, launches feel solid... if that makes sense LOL. Am I giving too much throttle too soon?
So, I'd love for ya to take a peak at the viddy and if you have any pointers, let's hear 'em! Other than new tires or suspension mods (I have LCA/UCA's on the way which will help with 60' times), what else could I be doing better?!
Many thanks!
