New suspension for larger wheels?
I'm a newb. I just bought an 06 Vista Blue Mustang V6. It's got the standard 16" wheels. It won't be right now, but eventually I'm going to want larger wheels. Will I have to get the suspension modified if I want larger wheels? I'm just asking because I saw that with the Pony Package, the suspension is changed for the 17" wheels. I know most of you have already gotten new wheels so you'll probably know the answer. Thanks.
+1 But just be prepared because modding your pride and joy will become instantly addictive. LOL Once you put on the new wheels you'll want to get lowering springs to get rid of the wheel well gap and give the car a more aggressive stance, then it will be GT rear bumper to fit the new dual mufflers you had to have to get the meaner sound, then it'll be the new front facia and grille, then the new badges, then the CAI and Tuner, then the LCA and UCA to go with the new sway bars you bought to improve cornering, then the ........ oh crap, this could go on forever. LOL But in the end your V6 Mustang will be the prettiest thing on wheels, it will be all yours and a mobile, rolling representation of your own personality and style.
Anyway, welcome to the forums and happy modding!
And by the way, my bias to Vista Blue is obvious.

You're probably right. Eventually I will want to do all that stuff. But first, I can't afford it right now, and second, I have no idea how to do those things. God I love my Mustang.
