Default New 2007 Questions

Hello, my new 2007 GT convertible needs some upgrades. First, I cannot lower the car because I need all the ground clearance. Second, the car does shake a bit, the steering wheel shimmies and the rear end seems to move laterally and makes small vertical oscillations after going over sharp bumps. I was wondering about a few mods:

1. Which is better, Tockico-D or Bilsteins? I am really sensitive to the type of motion that comes through when going over small expanson joints on the concrete LA freeways.
2. Arethe BMR street rod-bushing LCA'sa very livable street solution for noise and durability? I have never owned a street car with spherical bearings before. In the old days there were no spherical bearings that would hold up more than 5000 miles.
3. What can be done to improve the steering feel? The power steering is overboosted and as I said before, the steering shimmies a minute amount going over bumps.
4. This car understeers like a pig. Does anybody have experience with the different rear anti roll bars and which ones work well with the stock front bar for balanced handling?
5. I have the 18 inch wheels. I often wonder if this is a good deal for a convertible because the lower profile wheels just make the convertible shakes a little worse. Anybody have some input on this?

Thanks for the help. Hope to see some of you in Irvine on the 17th.

Default RE: New 2007 Questions

1) Tokico
2) BMR combo is the best way to go according to CrazyAl (Suspension God)
3) I think you mean bumpsteer and steeda makes some bumpsteer joints I think.
4) BMR rear is the best way to go also I believe.
5) The 18" wheel does the same for any vehicle, I don't think the convertable is any different.

Hope this helps
