I have them but did not install them yet, hopefuy in a few more weeks. Quality looks to be top knotch as expected. I spoke with Bilstein engineering and liked what I was told.

However, they can only be used for cars of stock ride height or those lowered no more than 1" max as these are the HD versions, not the sports.

The sports are not out yet. I was told by bilstein and others to expect a ride stiffness on the same order as a E36 M3 when combined with the H&R sport springs.

I have them with H&R race springs and they're doing well. If 3 people call Bilstein they will all get different answers. First they told me they were only for stock ride height. Then they said 1-1.5 inch drop is acceptable. Then when I told them I was using H&R race springs with them and that they came together in a kit from Maximum Motorsports they said - "Maximum Motorsports does extensive track testing and probably knows more about our product then we do. Go with what they say."

like I said - no complaints so far

Ditto on the Bilstine HD's vs. the Sports...the HD's are basically a production replacement shock. I talked with Maximum, and they said that Bilstine has built their shock specially designed to their specsand are modified for lowered cars and stiffer springs, etc. I'm not buying it. Maximum has about the best stuff around for the '04 and back Mustangs, but are way off the pace for the new chassis. I felt like I needed a shower when I got off the phone with their "salesman".

yep, like I said you get different answers from them. I have literally spoken with 2 different tech guys at Bilstein and 3 at Maximum. At this point all I can say is that they are working well on my car.
