Default Instant center hypothesis...

So I was laying in bed trying to fall asleep last night and a thought occurred to me....

What if you had the BMR UCA/adj LCA combo with the UCA mounting bracket and LCA reloc bracket. Then you took and placed the LCAs at the lowest mounting point and the UCA at the non-stock mounting point. In theory this would give you an incredible improvement in instance center...However, you would know if a dime was heads, or tails, up when you drove over it with the rear tires....But you should get an incredible launch, right???

My second thought was what if you coupled that with some super sticky tires out back....My hypothesis would be that this would be a quick way to find out what the weak point in you powertrain/driveline is????

Any contributing thoughts?????

Yes, i know I think of weird things.....

Ha, I tried that exact setup for a little while actually. The hookup was excellent but the ride was very rough!

Actually, you'll break the differential well before your break the trans or driveshaft.

Oh, and if you have Steeda LCAs, those break a lot too!

LOL.... that is very true, but the DS from the 05 v6 model will vibrate and snap / blow at highspeed....

I have replaced mine with an aluminun one piece from PH.

I have the following suspenssion Mods...Eibach pro kit springs, hellwing sways, adj panhard bar, Adjustable Tokico's D-Specs, SPEC stage2 + clutch, and a hairdryer...... This weekend I'll install a FR T-lock,J&M LCA's (with new spherical inner bushings)..... I can tell ya,so far the tranny is the weakest link (at least for me)...

But It might be different in the GT.....
