Adjustable Panhard bar install

RE: Adjustable Panhard bar install
I couldnt hardly get a torq wrench in there for the panhard nuts but i did tighten them quite a bit. I also put locktite on the jamb nuts to keep them from backing off. I have been told especially with the panhard that 129 might be to much and can eat the bushing. So i think I am fine where I am at.

Whoever told you that was an idot. The Ford shop manual specifications say 129ft/lb. torque for a reason. While you are at it you shouild probably replace those bolts if you have had them off more than once because they are a stretch bolt design as are almostALL of the S197 chassis bolts and fastenersand are stretched at the time of installation and will likely not achive specifed torque but continute to stretch until they yield.
Cheers!
