Trouble with LCA relocation brackets

Trouble with LCA relocation brackets
I just got the BMR LCA relocation brackets. I tried to install the passenger side one and it didn't fit. When I finally got the bolt through for the factory bolt location, the bolt hole for the axle would not line up. I ended up bending it and finally got it to fit after an hour of struggling, but then I could not get the LCA in place. it was too tight. I tried to pry it open but could not get it open enough to get the LCA to match up with either set of holes. anyoe have probles installing these? I have the BMR street LCA's (one rod end). you would think that since both parts are from BMR they would fit.

RE: Trouble with LCA relocation brackets
Are you sure you put the correct bracket on the correct side? The left and right brackets are different. I had no problems getting the brackets in place and bolted up, it was a perfect fit. I did have the same problem with getting the LCA into the new bracket. It was a tight fit, and I ended up using my jack to push the LCA up into the bracket.

yeah I have them on the correct sides . it is easy to tell- the one that flares out more goes to the side with the panhard bar(drivers side). I'll try to take a pic

RE: Trouble with LCA relocation brackets
The BMRs can be bolted in but, if I'm remembering this right, welding is suggested if you're putting alot of power to the rear wheels. So as long as you're not putting a blower on bolts should be ok. IMO, there's nothing wrong with the added strength of welding 'em in though.
