My stock rims at 20k still have some good meat left on them but I wanted new rims. You can go wider but are you wanting to keep the stock rims?

Well, some will go through others faster than most.
Wider, yes you can...do you have the 18' wheels or 17' wheels?

Hi johnnyv8,

You should try rotating your tires every other oil change or about 5K-6K miles. This makes your tires last a LOT longer. The best fitting, widest tire you can run on the stock 18"x8.5" wheels are going to be 255/45x18" tires. Look into a top of the line All-Season tire in this size as they tend to last quite a bit longer than dry performance tires do.

HTH!
