Default 28s or 26s

going with pro stars.
I have the mickey et streets in a 26x11.50x17
I have 4.10s, and cross the 1/4 in mid 4th gear, and am going to be going with nitrous, and maybe some more goodies.
so i was figuring, get 28x11.50x15s, and that might keep me from going into 5th (which is what im trying to avoid)
so which one should I choose?
28x11.50x15
26x11.50x15
either will be hoosier qucik time pros.

I would go with the taller tire for sure, the smaller tire will increase gear ratio and you have enough of that as it is, if the weight difference between the tires is subsantial than thats up to you. I run 275 40 R17 MT ET Street Radial they are great I think you will be happy with the improvement in traction

Just throwing it out there, I've had terrible results with hoosiers in the past. It's M/T for life for me.

if you want 15" wheels, the only company that sells them is Bogart and they're $429 a wheel.

already getting pro-stars from a friend...99% sure they will fit -making 100% sure this weekend-, and then putting small spacers on the front and putting skinnies (pro-stars) on.
what were your bad results?
a buddy just got some qtp's and they are great!

I ran hoosiers on my '95 back in the day. For such a soft tire, they really didn't hook up as well as the M/T that I later replaced them with. They also didn't last as long as the M/Ts. I'd say I got about 40 good burnouts and runs out of them before they were worn past the point of me feeling safe going down the track on them.
