WONDERING.......would there be enough gain in stability to warrant 1/2" or so wheel spacers....a thought.

Hi MHGT,
Stop wondering, spacers are a potenital saftey problem and are frequently the cause of vibration. IMO wheel spacers are an item that can improve handling IF they are ahigh quality, balanced, precision hub-centric spacer designed specifically for thecar you are installing them on. I also think that you need to choose a wheel spacer very carfully and not go too wide and cause rubbing or a tire sidewall that sticks out past thepoint that if the suspension is fully compressed that the tires touch any part of the body or chassis components. Wheel spacer nstallation is a big source of vibration and failure, make certainthe wheel spacers are correctly installed and that you do not exceed the spacer width recomended by the manufacturer of the spacers (don't go by what the idiot selling them to you tells you, READ the instructions for yourself and confirm they will work per the manufacturer!), and that you have at least the minimum recomended thread depth for the wheel spacers being considered.
HTH!
have to say that I was thinking the same.....if i were to do it I would have some made properly. Was just a thought out there anyways, always thinking of a way.
On a different note......was putting on my aluminum differential cocver yesterday and noticed that my driver side rear sway bushing on the bar itself at the body attatchment is worn to %$^&.......they are the black neo.....must just be enough lube ?
