Default Drive Shafts

“Fidanza”

Has anyone ever heard of "Fidanza"?

I am getting 3.73 gears, t-loc and line lock, put on my 2007 V6 Mustang.

When I asked about the drive shaft on a stock Mustang, I was told that it was good for 700hp.

True/Not True ?

I'm not aware of any driveshafts Fidanza makes for our cars. I just went to their website and the only item that shows for '05+ GT is their aluminum flywheels. http://www.fidanza.com/ItemDetails.a...=89&mkid=6

Fidanza makes quality flywheels and clutches.

Fidanza does in fact have 2 driveshafts for our cars. They have a steel and an aluminum unit. Both are one piece. The steel is obviously a bit heavier, but still much lighter than stock. I can't remeber who has them. I want to say Summit. My sponsor sent me a link a while back but I don't have it anymore.

I have no idea what the stock one is rated for. I know if I could afford 700hp I would buy a better driveshaft to put behind it lol.

Check out Shaftmasters - they are a Forum sponsor, and make a great one piece aluminum driveshaft, at a great price.

I found out that CJ's was incorrect about Fidenza does not offer a V6 drive shaft.

I got a great deal from Powerhouse..

Thanks everyone.......

The one with the pinion flange requires you to remove the pinion nut, remove the factory flange, install the new flange, pinion nut and tighten to set the pinion bearing pre load. The one with the adapter plate is just that, an adapter that you bolt to the factory flange. It comes down to an individual’s personal preference. .
