springs
I want to lower and add handling performance to my 06 GT Convertible. I also want it to sit more level than stock. I was looking at the steedaor eibach lowering springs. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks,
Matt
Thanks,

I went with the Steeda Ultralites, after the springs settled I ended up with about a 1 1/2" drop all around, I now have 1 1/2" gap between the top of tire and fender on the front and 2" on the rear.
Hi Matt, welcome.
Lowering is one thing - springs do it. Improving handling is another - springs by themselves don't do it, although they may make your car feel stiffer.
This question has been asked 100s of times. You should go to the Handling Performance section and read past posts (https://mustangforums.com/forumid_278/tt.htm).
There are many options for lowering springs, my choice was Eibach Pro but there are lots of other good choices. Steeda ultralites are popular.
