Default Wheel rub issue

I have an 06 V6. I just swapped my stock 17" bullitts for stock 18" bullits. There is a very slight rub on the front wheels between the wheels and the calipers. Has this happened to anyone else? Will they wear down or am I barganing for a disaster if I drive with them?[/align]

I had the same light rubbing from caliper on my 18" Bullit Ford Racing wheel... I put wheel spacers: problem resolved!
I think the problem is the smaller diameter of the brake discs on V6 compared to the GT

I would be very uncomfortable with any rubbing between my wheels and any other solid part of the car.. that's just not right. The rims have either the wrong offset, or backspacing and you should speak with whomever you purchased them from.

The offset is a little on the short side if that's the case...

Get spacers but as someone stated, speak to the person that sold them to you. Also, spaces work but they aren't advised.
