Default Vogtland's or Steeda's or H&R's Springs??? Suspension Advice Please Decide For Me, I'm Tired

Which choice of springs would be recommended for a daily driven Mustang GT with stock 17" wheels and tires?

VOGTLAND - 1.3" FRONT & 1.3" REAR (these have a name?)

OR

VOGTLAND - 0.8" FRONT & 1.2"REAR (leveling kit)
******************Leaning Towards These******************

Does anyone know the actual part numbers/names for each Vogtland spring kit?

OR

STEEDA Sport Springs - 1" FRONT / 1 1/4" REAR
Part Numbers#555-8215/8216

OR

STEEDA Ultralite Springs - 1" FRONT / 1 1/4" REAR
Part Number: 555-8206

OR

H&R Sport Springs - 1" FRONT / 0.75" REAR
Part#51655

I looked at the Eibach Pro Kit but I feel it's too much of a drop for me. And the Eibach Sportline Kit is insane.

I don't want to worry about the undercarriage of my car hitting speed bumps, bottoming out, etc. Also, visually, it annoys me to see my Mustang all jacked up in the back. I'm very particular and I think it's ugly.

I don't want to buy springs that make me hate driving my car. I want my car to feel more connected/glued to the road. I know springs aren't the only modification I need, but it's a foundation. The stock ride seems allright, but I don't feel confident in quick turns and negiotiating curves. I want all four corners of my car to I feel as though they are planted to the ground, more agile. The LCA's and UCA that I installed have reaaly helped reduce the rear wheels dancing all around and skipping on the pavement. My older Honda Civic EX, that supposedly had a double wishbone suspension, hugged the road, in my opinion, better than my Mustang. I think I was sitting lower in the Civic and everything on that car was stock. In my Mustang I sometimes feel like I'm in a small truck riding high. I know one cannot compare the two cars. They are two opposite platforms. The peppy little 4 cylinder Civic is much lighter/smaller/FWD/etc. etc., but even with my Mustang being larger/heavier/torqueier/RWD, it should be able to outhandle a damn Civic on curves/offramps/etc. I'm not asking for Ferrari-like handling but I just don't feel connected to the road like I did in my Civic. Civic's are what they are and serve a purpose for reliable economical transportation. I'm a die-hard Mustang fanatic, so please do not think I'm hating on the Mustang.

Anyway, back to reality, haha, my car will see drag strip 1/4 mile action but not until I install a supercharger. My car is too slow right now, so there's no point IMO. I already purchased the KONI Sport Shocks & Struts. I will be buying a panhard bar and brace, strut mounts, and LCA relocation bracketslater on to accommodate whatever lowering springs I choose with your help.

I'm too picky and like to think through things thoroughly before jumping into buying parts *****-nilly. I don't want to say "I woulda, coulda, shoulda..." I'm making a big deal outta nothing, I know, but please help in my decision on springs.

All three are good springs. You will find many people on here that are big into handling and they will voice one over the other two but all three are very good. People love Steeda springs, the ultra lites weigh less but some have said they settle more than the steeda sports. H&R is a great spring company and they know how to make good springs. Vogtland (and H&R) is a another german company and their newer springs are claimed to be lighter and stronger than brand X springs.

Sam strano, a sponsor here, has more road racing victories and autoX titles than you can shake a stick at and has his own aftermarket business. Hopefully he will comment on here for you.

Honestly, it may come down to which name you like better and the price as these companies don't make bad springs. However, the springs may have slightly different rates which may be important to you and only you can decide which rate you want as what is "soft" to some may be "bone jarring" to others.

I ran H&R sports on my Audi S4 and I never had any sag or trouble and they lasted longer than I owned the car. I have been keeping an eye on the Steeda competition springs and the Vogtland, probably leaning towards Vogtland as I think it is a quality company and product and thy are cheaper right now too.

Are these the Vogtland leveling springs?

I would like to know how much the shipping and handling charges would be for the VOGTLAND - 0.8" FRONT & 1.2"REAR (leveling kit) from stranoparts.com?

Those aren't, but if you can bear with me, I'll get you a price (I think they are similar). I'll be back.

I might have missed it, but could you give me the zip code we'd be delivering to... that way I can do the most accurate quote for you.

Steeda Sport springs rock! Although for real handling you need more than just springs. I can not believe the difference in my Steeda's stance, handle and grab compared to stock.

the vogtland springs listed for the gt500 are the same ones for the gt "leveling kit". the reason why they level a gt is the spring rate. the gt500 part has a little more spring rate in the front and the rear springs are the same as the other kit. I got this information from the company. I have the gt500 vogtland springs on my car. my car still has a little rake to it. there is a 3/4 of an inch difference in ride height front to back with these installed on my car with the extra weight of a turbo up front. the ride and handling are excellent.
check out hotpart.com to order vogtlands, good prices

At least give your site sponsors a shot, please. Price isn't everything, though we do what we can to be competitive.... and we back it up with the best information possible.

I want to install the VOGTLAND 0.8" DROP ON THE FRONT & 1.2"ON THE REAR "LEVELING KIT",
but would this be ideal when I add a supercharger to my car in 1-2 years, with the added weight of the supercharger, etc. etc.???

The Koni Sport Dampers will be installed at the same time as these springs.

So the GT Leveling Kit is the SAME as the GT500 kit???

from the information I recieved and what I have read I would say yes the spring rates are the same. I know that there is a .1 difference in the advertised drop height in the rear but I was told they are the same rear spring used on both kits. I doubt you will notice a difference in ride quality between the two springs either with or without your supercharger. My car is not level, close but not exactly. I like a little rake. like I said I have a 3/4 of an inch difference with the gt500 kit on my car. It is low enough that my chin spoiler is getting alot od damage these days. talk to one of the sponsers who sells them or the place I mentioned earlier. make sure your koni's adjust before you install them! koni recomends 1 turn out from full soft all the way around for your starting point.

I have the Vogtland where the front is lower than the back and I love it.. Im adding some meaty tires in the back to give it that old school look... I love them...
