Default sway bar install write up!

i figured ive done this about 10 times so why not make a write up?

tools
varies sockets(i forgot acully the size belive the is 15 and 17)
jack(or lift)
jack stands
pair of pliers
open wrenchs
beer

lift the car(jack or a lift dosent matter, but if using a jack dont forget the jack stands)

Front
Drink a beer
1. after lifting take a look at your sway bar, on the support you should see 4 nuts take those off, the clamps come right off but leve them on for now
2. now turn the wheel to the left or right(if you turn it to the left work on the left)
3. you should see another bolt with a nut on a bar coming down(for all you non technically type), use the open wrench to take the bolt off, use the pliers to hole the bolt or it will turn
Drink a beer
4. take the sway bar off on that side
5. repeat on the other side
6. now take the clamps off on the front and the take the sway bar off
Drink a beer
7. you can use the same clamps on the ruber pieces on the new sway bar,
8. when reinstalling do all the steps backwards, but leve the bolt on the clamps a little lose
9. after all the bolts are on adjust the swaybar making sure the rubber pieces are as far as they can go inwards(a meatl lip should stop it)
10.tourque down the nuts nice a tight(or they will come lose trust me I KNOW)
Drink a beer

Rear
Depending on if you have a v6 non-pp, or a gt and v6 pp
Drink a Beer
1. lift the back end up(dont forget jack stands)
2. Youll see two things hanging from the body of the car, take the bolts off off there
3.You will see right by the tire and beleow the shock you will see 2 ear like bolt things, take thoes off on both sides.
4.take the sway bar down
Drink a beer
5. grab the new sway bar
5a. now if u never had a sway bar you have to put the bolts in for the sway bar, all you have to do is slide it in the larger side n slide it into the smaller hole, it should lock right in
6.back to the show, when reinstalling install the swinging bars first, then the one on the shock,
7. touque the one on the shock very tight!!!!!! if it moves it can break the ear,
8.Drink more beer
9. Enjoy if you arent that drunk

now you have a nice set of sway bars! the drink beer setup is optional but recomened lol

EST TIME:

with out beer: 1 1/2 hrs
With beer: 3 hrs plus a hung over

hope this helps

I likezid's instruction better.

They involve beer.
