suspension questions
Bought some H&R super sport springs, I have heard I need camber plates before I put these on. Or should I buy just camber bolts? Does anybody know where I can get these at a good price and what brand you would recommend. The drop is 1.7 up front and 1.9 in the rear. what else would you guys reccomend? I dont want to spend over 400 dollars. I dont race at the strip. If I got this correct am I only going to need caster camber plates and an adjustable panhard bar?

If you arent racing then camber bolts will be fine for the front.

Save your money and install a set of D-Specs or Koni Sport dampers when you install the springs. Thiswill save you to costgoing back andinstalling the dampers later. This savings will more than pay for your new sport springs. You will also need a set of Steeda's BilletCamber plates to get your camber back to a more reasonablespec. I recommend-1.25 to -1.5 degrees negative camber for a street car and moreif you are agressive. The H&R super sports lower the car too much and your camber will be way too negative for the limited range of camber adjustment a simpleset of camber bolts can give you. You need some negative camber but with a largereduction in ride height you need a large amount of camber adjustment and AFAIK the Steeda billet camber plates give you the most range of adjustment and theycannot slip out of adjustmentlike camber bolts do. The Steeda Billet Camber plates also allow you to achive the full factory spec torque which none of the camber bolts on the market allowdue to the bolt shanks being so undersized. The camber boltsonly allow you to achive about 1/3 of the clamping force of the regular straight strut to hub bolts!

Is anyone here using Steeda Pro Action Shocks & Strut, they are non-adjustable. Am I going to want to go with adjustables?

The Steeda Pro Action dampers are by most accounts a pretty good match for the Steeda Sport springs. I think they favor ridemore thanperformance buthave significantly better damping rates than stock. TheSteeda Pro Action damper were specifically developed for use with Steeda's spring rates and linear rate springs. I doubt the Pro Action dampers will be as good a match with the H&R sport springs which is why I suggested theD-Spec or Koni Sport dampers both ofwhich are easily adjusted to match the range of springs out there.

Good choices. The first one is the Steeda billet camber plates I'm using and suggested. They give you the most range of adjustment. The second link is also good and I use them too but they are very limited in camber adjustment.
