Do 275/40/18 fit all around ?
I'm thinking of buying 275/40 for 18x10 rims and would like to know if these will fit all around on my '08 Mustang GT coupewithout "rubbing in the front. Does anyone know from experience and, if so, what amount of offset on both the front and rear is required ?

I have 18x9 in the front with 275/40 and they rubbed the plastic guard when i would lock the wheels one direction so I had to cut them. But then again Roush wheels are 10" all around so I'm not sure what they did for them to work.

I have 275/40/18, all around. I regret that I havent went with bigger ones.
There is plenty of room to put bigger ones in, and mine is lowered.
I would go with 295 minumum in rear, and 275 up front.
Here is the link, very cheap tires, you wont find a better deal

I'll be putting 275/40/18's on my new 18 x 9.5" rims (SVT Cobra's with 47mm offset) tomorrow, replacing the stock 235/50/18's on the fan blades with 50mm offset. My suspension is stock. I don't anticipate any problem.

I suggest you go to www.tirerack.com/as they explain tires sizes and wheel rim offsets

You can easily fit the properly sized 285/40x18 tires on 10" wheels all around even on a lowered car as long as you use wheels with the correct offset. I'm running forged Roush 18x10 wheels all around and the 275/40x18 areabout 1/2"-3/4" shorter than the stock 235/55x17 tires on 17x8 wheels. This makes the wheelwells look a little empty. But a 285/40x18will fit no problem, I have plenty of room between thetire sidewalls andSteeda coilover strut bodies.
