I think you guys are talking me out of doing it altogether. I can "afford" to put the money into that mod, it's that I choose not to, because I don't think it is worth it for just the looks. If lowering this car a mere 3/4" is costing me just under 1k, I would think that money is foolishly spent. I will have to keep listening until I hear a reasonable solution.

thanks
Hi case ace,

If you can't justify the cost then leave it alone. We all have to rationalize how and what we spend money in our lives. If you think the car handles and performs well enough for you but don't like the cost required to reduceride height properly withminmal impact on safety, durability, handling and ride I suggest that youleave it alone. Of course I tell everybody that tospend money on a mod stricly for appearance is awaste of perfectly good money.

I have the complete Ford racing lowering kit, started with springs....,found struts and shocks were needed to feel right.Complimented it with ford racing sway bars, front & back.It handles crazy, alittle stiff on the ride.I think it was worth it!

NOTE : If you lower your stang.....check your alignment...there is probally a neg tow in.
Camber plates will fix it
Parts were all together about 1500.00,Thankfully brother is a Ford mechanic. It helps to Know people

Doesnt Eibach make a pro-kit for the S197's? If so I dont think you need anything else with the pro-kit.

From what I have read the Eibach Pro Kit Kit and the FRPP spring kit are the same thing just indifferent boxes.

Hi Sleeper_08,

That is correct, FRPP sells Eibach's Pro-Kit springs as their own product complete with Eibach's name andpart numberscreened on the springs.

Hi 1BAD3V,

Just because the springs are sold by themselve does not mean or even indicate this is all you need for a quality and optimum install. This is just the way they are sold and it is your responsibiity to get the other parts you need for a good installation.
