If you're only goingto be using them at the track, go all out and get the bias ply 26x11.5x17. They are tubeless and hook like a bat outta hell. (Trust me.)

What he said. I got my rims and tires 26x11.5x17 from Brenspeed.

Just curious. Since you change your tire at the track, do you take 2 vehicles? I don't think I could fit 2 tires and a jack in my car.

I have 275/40/17 on stock 17"s. They fit in just fine.
I put the back seats down, slide one in and up with enough room to put the other in.
Jack fits, small tool box, small cooler, 2 of those fold up chairs, and 2 helmets.
