Default t-lok

Does the 2008 mustang v6 have t-lok?
My gf has the 2008 mustang v6 with the safety package and pony package. wondering if this car has t-lok (limited slip differential) which allows both wheels to have power to the ground?

the previous years of mustang didn't have it in the v6. I was wondering if this one does?

or should i just put the vehicles jack on slip the car in neutral and spin the back tires? I f the vehicle doesn't have this would you recommend having it installed?

The safety package doesn't include a Tlok. You get ABS and traction control (TCS) with the safety package.

I have the Tlok installed on my car and like it a lot better than the one wheel drive. Made the winter easier this year when I had to drive the Mustang in the snow.

Does anyone make either a plate-type diff (like a Kaaz or BMW M3) or a true locking diff (vs LSD)?

Ford's LSD is called the T-Lok. It's a clutch plate type LSD, similar to a Kaaz. For a V6 Mustang, you need a 7.5" sized T-Lok. They're about $200.

There's one here, 2nd down on the right, on this page: http://www.v6mustangstuff.com/05Drivetrain.htm

I ordered t-lok package from stangmods. Got 3.73 gears, oil, and install kit. It just sucks that I have to pay 600 bucks to get installed at the dealership.
