p.s, the rear rim is 18x10
Thanks

RE: 285?
I am not sure about the 285's, but I went with the recommended tire size for that rim. (I have 18x9 and 18x10 deep dish black bullitts from american muscle)... The Nitto tires are excellent and look really nice. The tire size was perfect because it was flush with the rim and didnt look too fat... or too skinny...

RE: 285?
well do what you want. I am just saying the recommended tire size worked perfectly for my configuration. Either wayyour car willturna lot of heads after the rims are on(deep dish bullitts look amazing on our s197's)

RE: 285?
I m running 295 x 35 on a lowered s197 no problems. no tire buldge, What does going flat have to do with your Tire size ? One word of note . do you have tpms on your car now? make sure your rim will take the tpms stem / band. (or learn to hit the reset) I am sure you have checked with AM before you ordered or they might of told you, , are you going from one size rim to the next?

RE: 285?
I'm running 285/40/18's on my black bullitt 18x10's in the rear, 285/35/18 would beto short & you would see a much larger gap between your wheel well. You would also have to have a programmer to adjust for tire size.

RE: 285?
I have the Black DD 18x10's on the rears and went 295/45. I wanted a wide tire for the rears but it's not a DD so I'm not too concerned with tire rotation. I did use the SCT to adject the tire rpm's as the 295/45 are a bit taller than stock.
