I had a loud creaking noise from my front susp. when I turned the wheel especially lock to lock. I took it to the dealer the other day to get the airbag recall done and asked them to look at it. Turns out there's something wrong with the front struts in our cars and Ford made updated one's for the car to replace them. Just figured I let people know about this problem b/c there's no TSB out.

 

Did they sayit was the strut or the upper strut mount?

 

It was the struts themselves. They said Ford issued updated one's for anyone that had problems. I think if anyone's having even a slight problem at all up front they should take it in while still under warranty.
