Default DrHorsepower by Bilstein

Has anyone ever actually had experience on these shocks and struts?

I know Bilstein, but the name DrHorsepower sounds so corny.

Here's a link to an auction on Ebay:

looks like drhpower is the name of the seller, so either someone is painting & renaming bilstein shocks or it's a factory labelling program where the buyer requests a color & sticker on the shock. The picture shows adjustable ones, but the description is severely lacking. The Bilstein website only shows one shock absorber for the '05+ Mustang (front & rear), the heavy duty adjustable. The tire rack has the same thing (or likely the same thing) with a better price & description:

Bilstein's would be third on my recommended list for this car.... mostly because you can shocks that offer adjustability for around the same prices. I'm a Koni fan, and at $710 shipped that's not a huge amount more than the cost of Bilstein's. But even if you didn't do Koni's, I'd sooner put on a set of D-specs because the flexibility is a very useful thing to have when dialing in a car (both on ride and handling).

There are some really, really poor dampers out there. None of these 3 fall in that category. I'd put the Koni's on top in all aspects of quality, performance and flexibility. The Tokico's offer flexibility and in ways more performance than the Bilstein's, and the biggest thing the Bilstein's have to offer is a big better long term toughness over the D-specs, but not over the Koni's.

BTW... I also sell Bilstein.
