Default kdw2's

so the search function still sucks.

anyway, does anyone have these? i was thinking about getting some, but so many people say they suck while others say they are the best ever. I was thinking of getting 255-45-18's, but some say they're unbearably noisy. I don't know what to do. Thanks for your help.

I think you might have your tire confused.....i have yet to hear people say they suck. They are great street tires, the performance at the track is not as good but then again if you are serious enough you have track tires anyway.

I think they are great tires and will get a another set once mine wear out

You are talking about these pictured below?

that is all i have run on my car since i got it. i have 275/35/18's. the first set i got over 40,000 miles on. discount tire could not believe it when i came in to get a new set. they back checked my previous mileage when i got my first set and the guys jaw dropped. i love them. good in rain and dry road. have no clue if they are loud or not cause i cant hear anything over my L/T's and exhaust.

discount told me not to even try nittos cause most dont see over 17,000 miles on them and they are only $40/ tire cheaper than the kdw2's

just my .02

I was reading reviews from tirerack as well as discount tire. Alot of people said they love 'em while others said they are terrible...mostly noise. Can you confirm or deny high noise levels?...how many miles are on yours?

I have them. I like them.
I have 255/45ZR18s on OEM 18x8.5" polished Bullitts.
I do notice a littlemore noise from them over the stock
Pirellis, but not much to warrant not buying them.
I dont think they make any god awful amounts of noise.
I have about 1K on these and they stick like glue around turns.
I will be getting another set when I wear these out.
Excellent dry traction but kinda iffy on the wet pavment.
Get the KDWS's if you are concerned with wet weather traction.

yeah, i was just nervous about these things getting crazy loud after a certain amount of miles. does anyone have over 15k on theirs?....any change in noise level?....i do have homemade loudmouths, so the right noises are ok, but absurdly loud tire noise is no fun.

I have 'em and love 'em. But remember, they're summer only. In the snow..forget about it. Temperature even gets close to 40 or lower..forget about it. I live in Utah..plenty of snow, so I'll be switching to an ultra high performance all season. I try not to drive it in the Winter, but you never know what can happen to your winter vehicle.

29k. sure there's road noise, nowhere near as loud as a 4wd truck with mud tires. Sure, the tires may get louder over time, but you don't notice that until new tires are put on again. Put it this way...my wife and I have NEVER said "wow, these tires are loud".

I can't hear them at all but my exhaust is loud also. I haven't had any problems with them.
