Okay guys and gals, so I'm on the way home from a night out on the town and I'm driving with the windows rolled down, just listening to tunes right? Well, I roll up on a stop sign and make a left hand turn and hear a "chirp" sound when I accelerate through the turn. Now, at the next stop sign I make a right hand turn and no chirp. Then, I get to my house and make a left into the driveway and hear the "chirp" again when I accelerate through the turn. Any ideas what the heck this could possibly be? I'm taking it to Ford in the next couple of days to get it checked out but not sure exactly what to tell them.

Sounds like open diff?


The sounds coming from the left rear wheel, correct?

actually it's the Left Front... And, I did a test drive today on the day off and it's like ANY movement to the left side yields the sound now.

Verdict is in... * Drum Roll Please * Bad Bearing in Front/Left. Ford Tech advised he's seen it a couple of times now. You guys might wanna check into this in your area.
