Default Maximum 20 tire size

I thinking about putting 20 inch wheels on my lowered GT. I have the Eibach Pro kit and wonder what is the maximum size tires I can put on the new wheels.

20" wheels will fit your ride, but I recommend 18"s. For performance, I think 18" wheels offer the widest range of possible tire fitments. With that said, it is your car and 20"s will work just fine

You can run 265~275/35~40/20"s up front and 275~305/35~40/20"s out back. 9"s & 10"s will work in any size range and will want to make sure to get fitment for S197's as the off-set varies for earlier Stangs. You need to keep in mind brake clearance if you plan on upgrade to aftermarket brakes (14" or larger) will likely NOT be cleared by an 18" wheel.

Let us know your driving needs (launching, 1/4 mile, twisties , DD, road/weather conditions, dogs name, if you have any single sisters) and your budget and will be happy to help
